Information about electronic resources that are subscribed by VTC from the user guides and get introduced on major subjects offered by IVE campuses from the subject guides.
The Information Counter opens from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. A member of library staff is available at the Information Counter to assist users in locating information and using library resources. Please feel free to ask for help. Reference enquiries can also be sent to the Library via e-mail at ty-lrc@vtc.edu.hk or by calling 2436-8500.
Academic staff are generally responsible for reviewing the collection in their particular subjects and checking that the latest editions of standard textbooks and references are available in the Libraries to support the courses which they teach. Recommendation forms are available online from the LRC website and are kept in most departmental offices. After the information is verified and it is ensured that the title is not duplicated, the recommendation will be passed on to the Acquisition / Technical Service Section of IVE (TY) Library for ordering.
Recommendations or inquiries in regard to books ordering may be addressed to the staff concerned.
By using the VTC Library Online Catalogue and its Summon Searching Guide for reference, library users can locate the resource held by the Library.
