A networked system of computer equipment and personal computers is available throughout the Campus. This provides each of the disciplines with popular software for word processing, databases and spreadsheets, and also provide high quality workstations for using more advanced application software. The network also provides a connection to appropriate peripherals such as printers and plotters.
Furthermore, the campus network connection enables Internet/Intranet access for students and staff.
A user support service is available to advise you on all aspects of the computer facilities.
The LRC manages a wide range of computer facilities to provide various types of computer services to students and staff of the Tsing Yi Campus and other campuses of VTC.
Campus network connects teaching facilites, event venues, conference rooms,
staff offices and Learning Resources Centre in IVE(TY) with high speed Etherent links backbone.
It link to the VTC Wide Area Network(WAN) that aims to provide the intercampus and office with high-speed connectivity.
